Men's Bible Study Moved to King & Bear This Week Only 
The Thursday morning Men's Bible Study that usually meets at the Slammer and Squire Clubhous will move for Thursday, May 23 only to the King & Bear Clubhouse at 7:00 a.m.  The group will return to the Slammer & Squire May 30.

Vacation Bible School returns June 10-14
Vacation Bible School returns to The Village Church with the VBS World Tour June 10-14 (from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon each day).  This exciting program will take us to five continents in five days as we experience God's love for the whole world.  Online registration is underway and spots are filling fast (as of Monday, May 20 we are at 60 percent capacity).

Mission Impact - Your Gifts in Action

Here are some reports from some of the Mission Organizations The Village Church supports through your time and gifts:
Betty Griffin House - In March, Village Church donations provided shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence.  BGH was able to serve 225 adults and children through emergency shelter, hotline, counseling and legal services.
Project SOS - Project SOS reports that they have just completed their first mentoring program "E3 - Educate, Empower and Equip."  This 9-week program teaches teens how to be leaders in their schools and communities.  Project SOS also provides 1,000 students each month five hours of life skills classes in local Middle and High Schools.
The Homeless Coalition - This St. Augustine organization is very grateful for the Easter Celebration organized by the Tuesday Ladies Bible Study.  The children especially loved Pastor Alan's crucifixion story using Easter Eggs!

Ready to take the next step with Operation Christmas Child?

Having returned from an incredible celebration of the first 100,000,000 shoeboxes through Operation Christmas Child, we are ready to begin registering folks for our first family mission trip to work in the Charlotte Processing Center.  We will be traveling December 1-4 and working three days in the Processing Center.  To learn more about this opportunity to serve and take the next step with OCC, click on OCC TRIP INFO under the "News & Updates" heading on the upper right side of this page.
